Swamibapa A have been crowned 2026 Nairobi Cricket Club Association (NCCA) Super Division 50-Overs champions, while unbeaten SCLPS YL B will be seeking to complete a flawless Division One campaign when the season concludes this Sunday, October 25.

Attention will be on Nairobi Club, where SCLPS YL B face Kenya Kongonis A in their final league match, with an opportunity to finish the season with a perfect 16 wins from 16 matches.

SCLPS YL B have dominated Division One, winning all their 15 matches to collect 60 points and register an impressive net run rate of 2.751. They have already secured the title, but Sunday’s encounter offers them a chance to cap their campaign with an unbeaten record.

Their opponents, Kenya Kongonis A, are sixth with eight wins from 15 matches and will be keen to spoil the champions’ perfect-season ambitions on home ground while finishing their campaign on a high.

Behind the champions, Wolves Cricket Club A have secured second place with an unassailable 44 points from 16 matches. Kanbis B are third on 40 points, followed by Sir Ali Muslim Club B on 36.

At the bottom of the table, Legends CC A and Ngara Sports Club B will be looking to avoid finishing last.

Legends CC A face Sikh Union B at Sikh Union in another Division One fixture, with both sides hoping to end a difficult season on a positive note.

Swamibapa take Super Division honours

In the Super Division, Swamibapa A have already settled the title race, finishing top with 13 victories from 16 matches to accumulate 52 points.

Kanbis A are second on 44 points, while Ruaraka A and Sir Ali Muslim Club A occupy third and fourth positions respectively, both with 40 points.

The final round will nevertheless provide teams with an opportunity to improve their standings and finish the campaign strongly.

At Sir Ali, fourth-placed Sir Ali Muslim Club A, who have recorded 10 victories, host Nairobi Gymkhana A, currently sixth with seven wins from 14 matches. Gymkhana will be hoping to climb the standings with a positive result.

At SCLPS, SCLPS YL A, who have managed four victories from 15 matches, host Ngara Sports Club A in a contest between the bottom two sides.

SCLPS YL A are seventh with 18 points, while Ngara SC A are eighth after managing just two wins from 15 matches. Both teams will be desperate to sign off the season with a victory.

Ruaraka A will have a bye in the final round.

Faraz leads run-scoring charts

Meanwhile, Sir Ali Muslim Club’s Faraz Ahmad has been the leading batsman in the Super Division, scoring 935 runs in 14 innings at an average of 66.79 and a strike rate of 147.24.

He is followed by Ruaraka’s Satyalaksha Jain, who has accumulated 887 runs, while Nairobi Gymkhana’s Mohit Jhawa is third with 864 runs.

Faraz will also have a personal milestone in sight, needing 65 more runs to reach the 1,000-run mark for the season.

With the Super Division title already decided and SCLPS YL B having secured Division One honours, the closing weekend promises a final opportunity for individual and team achievements.

The biggest question, however, will be whether SCLPS YL B can maintain their remarkable winning streak and finish the campaign with a perfect 16-0 record.
