Governor Dr Paul Otuoma will establish the facility in honour of Radoli, a pioneer journalist who was laid to rest on Sunday at his home in Nayombe Village.

Obonyo said his friendship with Radoli and Wandera stretched back many years, recalling how the three would often meet at his home in Busia Town to chat, laugh and reminisce about their years working in newsrooms.

His tenure coincided with some of the media sector’s most significant battles with the government, particularly over legislation introduced in 2013 that journalists and media organisations argued threatened press freedom.
