Kenya and Egypt are committed to deepen and strengthen their partnership in higher education and research for the two countries to prosper.
This was revealed after Kenya’s Education CS Julius Migos Ogamba hosted Egypt’s Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mohamed Ayman Ashour on Wednesday.

The bilateral meeting was held at ministry headquarters in Nairobi.
A dispatch from the ministry said that the partnership “will create a platform for sharing best practices, enhance educational outcomes and promote people-to-people diplomacy.”
The meeting discussed areas of current and potential collaboration between the two countries in higher education and research.
Kenya and Egypt have a long-standing relationship in education.
Several Kenyan and Egyptian institutions have existing collaborations in research and capacity building, according to the brief.
Egypt has also generously provided scholarships to Kenyan students over the years, across a range of disciplines.
