Mogaka said the publication, which he described as the first of its kind in the country, would provide residents with regular information on completed, ongoing and planned projects in the constituency.
He said the magazine would enhance access to information and enable residents to track the progress of development initiatives in their respective areas.
“This publication will go a long way in updating our people on projects that have already been implemented, those that are ongoing and what we intend to undertake,” Mogaka said.
The inaugural edition features projects implemented through the National Government- Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) across the five wards of West Mugirango — Bosamaro, Bogichora, Nyamaiya, Bonyamatuta and Nyamira Township.
The publication highlights various projects in sectors including education and infrastructure, giving residents an overview of development initiatives undertaken across the constituency.
It also lists of Members of Parliament who have represented West Mugirango.
Other sections highlight the strategic location of West Mugirango, Mogaka’s participation in parliamentary legislation and other activities undertaken in his capacity as the area MP.

The launch of the bulletin is not for sale and comes as Mogaka seeks to strengthen communication between his office and constituents on the use and impact of public development funds.
The magazine is expected to provide a reference point for residents seeking information on projects in their wards and to increase awareness of constituency development initiatives.
The Portable Document Format (PDF) of the magazine will be shared online to enhance access of the information.
Mogaka said keeping residents informed was an important part of accountable leadership, adding that the bulletin would complement other channels used by his office to communicate with constituents.
The launch was held alongside the commissioning of the Nyakeore Senior School bus, an initiative that was welcomed by stakeholders.
