The Jubilee Party has disowned premises in Juja and Mugutha, Kiambu County, declaring that they are not recognised or authorised party offices.

In a public notice on Monday, the party said its gazetted national headquarters was located at Daraja House along State House Road in Nairobi.

The party also clarified that it had officially established more than 30 branch offices across various counties, alongside several authorised sub-county offices.

In Kiambu County, Jubilee said it operated official offices in Kiambu Town and Gatundu Town, but had no recognised office in Juja or Mugutha.

“Consequently, the Party wishes to categorically clarify that it does not have any officially recognised or authorised office in Juja or Mugutha, Kiambu County,” the notice stated.

The party warned that it would not be liable for activities, representations, undertakings, financial transactions or commitments made by individuals operating from the disputed premises in its name.

It further cautioned members against presenting the premises as official party offices without authorisation, saying those found to be doing so would face disciplinary action under the party constitution and applicable laws.

“Any party member found to be operating or representing the said premises as an official Jubilee Party office without proper authorisation shall be subjected to appropriate disciplinary action,” the notice stated.

Jubilee added that it would pursue legal and administrative remedies if the individuals operating the premises were not party members.

The party urged its members, supporters and the public to conduct official business only through authorised offices and recognised officials.

It also advised the public to verify any communication, activity or commitment purportedly originating from an unauthorised office through the National Secretariat.

The notice was signed by Jubilee Party Secretary-General Moitalel Ole Kenta.
