Linda Mwananchi has appointed Pauline Njoroge as interim head of communication and Fredah Onduso to its Digital, Media and Publicity Team ahead of its presidential campaign.
The appointments were announced on Tuesday following a leadership meeting held on Monday to review the movement’s rebranding process, party structures and preparations for the Presidential Campaign Secretariat.

Njoroge brings experience in political and strategic communication, having previously worked on presidential campaigns and with government institutions and intergovernmental organisations.
She will lead communication at the interim stage as the movement continues to organise its campaign secretariat.
Onduso joins Abigael Gikonyo and Charity Waweru in the Digital, Media and Publicity Team, which falls under the Communication Department.
Also known as Kwamboka, Onduso is an actress, poet, singer, and political activist associated with the Linda Mwananchi movement.
Onduso is known for playing Miriam in the Kenyan drama film A Family Portrait, released in 2024.
She has also become increasingly visible in political discussions and is publicly identified as the the Linda Mwananchi Youth League leader.
The movement said the appointments were part of the ongoing process of establishing its campaign structures, adding that further appointments would be announced in due course.
The team’s composition points to an effort to establish a dedicated structure for handling the movement’s public profile and media engagement as it prepares for the presidential campaign.
Digital communication and publicity are important components of modern political campaigns, providing channels through which political movements can circulate messages, respond to public debate and reach supporters beyond physical rallies and meetings.
The appointments come as Linda Mwananchi continues its rebranding and internal organisational process, suggesting that the movement is working to put structures in place ahead of its wider campaign activities.
