Kenya Harlequins Rugby Club and digital healthcare provider Zuri Health have announced a landmark partnership that will see Zuri Express become the club’s Official Medical, Wellness and Recovery Partner for the 2026 National Sevens Circuit and the upcoming Kenya Cup season.
The collaboration, described as the first revenue-led mobile healthcare partnership in Kenyan rugby, aims to enhance player welfare while expanding access to healthcare services for rugby fans and the wider community.

Under the agreement, Zuri Health, through its mobile hospital division Zuri Express, will provide integrated pitch-side healthcare services throughout the 2026 National 7s Circuit, including the Christie 7s tournament, as well as during the Kenya Cup 15s season.
A key focus of the partnership is player safety. Zuri Health will deploy dedicated emergency medical response teams and two fully equipped ambulances at match venues to ensure athletes have immediate access to professional medical care.
The partnership will also extend healthcare services beyond the field through the establishment of the Zuri Wellness Hub, a free match-day health screening station for fans and their families.
The initiative will provide basic health checks and connect participants to Zuri Health’s WhatsApp Doctor service and Continuous Care Programme for individuals living with chronic illnesses.
Speaking on the partnership, Zuri Health Vice President for Partnerships Yvonne Kariuki said the collaboration demonstrates the potential of innovative healthcare solutions to support both sports and community wellbeing.

Kenya Harlequins FC Chairman Victor Sudi welcomed the agreement, saying it aligns with the club’s commitment to player welfare and community engagement.
