Mogaka said farmers in his constituency had repeatedly sought answers from their elected leaders over the management of the tea sector and the earnings from their produce.

The officials called for greater professionalism and respect in the management of examinations, saying those deployed to centres should conduct themselves with integrity and observe established procedures.

Under the law, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is mandated to assign, deploy and transfer teachers serving in public institutions.
