At least six people died while 26 others were injured in two separate accidents along Bomet-Narok Road.
One of the accidents occurred after a school bus collided with a Public Service (PSV) shuttle at Olonin Bridge on Saturday night.

The Mesabisabi Secondary School bus and was transporting church members to Kisii while the shuttle belonging to Narok Line Services was heading the opposite direction.
Narok police boss Rico Ngale said the bus was overtaking other vehicles when the accident occurred.
Following the accident, three travelers aboard the shuttle died on the spot.
The injured were rushed to Ololung’a Sub-County and Narok Referral Hospitals for treatment where two of them died.
A majority of those aboard the bus were from Nyaribari Masaba Constituency, Kisii County.
“I convey my heartfelt condolences to the immeasurable loss suffered to the bereaved families, relatives and friends,” their MP Daniel Manduku said.
“We wish speedy recovery to the passengers who sustained injuries in the accident.”
The second occurred when a private car and a bus collided near Ololung’a police station, claiming the life of one person.
The dead was one of the four travellers in the car.
The rest sustained injuries while no one among the 34 passengers aboard the bus was injured.
Road accidents tend to increase during December festivities.
Africa, with only 15% of the global population and owning three percent of the worldwide vehicle fleet, accounts for the highest road crash fatalities despite a drop globally, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) Africa Region Road Safety Report 2023.
Africa is the most affected by road crashes, with a traffic fatality rate of 19.5 deaths per 100,000 people compared to 16 deaths per 100,000 in Southeast Asia, and 6.5 deaths per 100,000 in Europe.
