Emmanuel Opati announced himself in emphatic fashion with a blistering 33-second stoppage victory over Jakub Jablonski at the UWC MMA League, signaling his arrival as a serious force in the lightweight division.
Fighting at the Woodside Leisure Centre Arena in Watford, Opati wasted no time asserting dominance.

From the opening bell, he dictated the pace, controlled the exchanges, and capitalized on an early opening to deliver a decisive finish that left fans stunned.
“It was an explosive fight from the very first second,” Opati said after the bout.
“We both came in sharp, but I stayed composed under pressure and imposed myself early. Once I saw the opening, I pressed forward, stayed disciplined, and forced the stoppage with a right hook.”
The referee stepped in just 33 seconds into the first round, sealing one of the fastest finishes in recent UWC MMA lightweight contests.
For Jablonski, the loss was tough but instructive.
“I came prepared for a war, but he caught the moment better than I did,” he admitted.
“That is the nature of this sport—one opening can decide everything. I respect the execution, and I will come back sharper.”
With momentum firmly on his side, Opati is already looking ahead.
After a brief recovery and review of his performance, he plans to return to training camp as he targets a comeback in July.
“Right now I’m taking a short recovery, then it’s straight back to work,” he said.
“July is when the next fight is.”
While no opponent or venue has been confirmed, discussions are ongoing as the UWC MMA League calendar takes shape.
