The 2026 NCBA golf calendar gathers pace this weekend with the NCBA Golf Series staging its sixth qualifier at Kenya Railway Golf Club on Saturday.
At the same time, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) circuit tees off the inaugural Ulinzi Invitational at Kenya Airforce Golf Club.

The Railway qualifier is expected to attract more than 130 golfers seeking spots in the NCBA Golf Series Grand Finale later this year at Karen Country Club.
Players will compete across multiple categories, including overall gross winner men and lady, runners-up, third and fourth best overall gross, and junior winner.
Meanwhile, attention on the elite amateur circuit shifts to Kenya Airforce Golf Club, where the Ulinzi Invitational will run from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29.
The event is one of two new additions to the KAGC calendar this season, alongside the Machakos Open set for mid-April.
The tournament has drawn a competitive field of slightly over 70 golfers, including Rwanda’s Jean D’amour Hitayezu and Felix Dusabe of Kigali Golf Resort & Villas.
Kenya’s Michael Warigia of Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club arrives in strong form after finishing third at last weekend’s NCBA Muthaiga Open.
Also in the mix are Longwe Kamoza and Isaac Makokha as players chase valuable Order of Merit points and a share of the KES 500,000 prize purse.
NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to growing the sport.
“At NCBA, we believe in creating platforms that nurture talent and bring the golfing community together. The NCBA Golf Series continues to provide golfers across the country with an opportunity to compete, grow their game, and build meaningful connections,” he said.
“As the series heads to Railway this weekend, we look forward to another exciting round and to seeing more players earn their place at the Grand Finale. It is also a weekend with action for elite amateurs through the Ulinzi Invitational, as well as juniors with the NCBA Coast Junior Open.”
The NCBA Ulinzi Invitational follows the NCBA Muthaiga Open, where home player Jay Sandhu claimed his second consecutive KAGC title after overcoming a field of more than 140 golfers.
The win saw Sandhu extend his lead at the top of the Order of Merit standings, with junior star Junaid Manji and defending champion John Lejirma remaining in contention.
