Schools which offer transport services to their learners will have to readjust their schedules when they open this week.
This is after the government directed that no school bus will be allowed on the road earlier than 6am and after 6pm from now on.

The directive was issued by Education Cabinet Secretary (CS), Julius Ogamba on Sunday.
The same directive affects any vehicle that carries school children.
The move is expected to adversely affect transportation of learners in schools which have inadequate vehicles.
There has been concern that learners wake up as early as 4pm to be on the road to be picked by their school buses.
This also helps them beat traffic jams in big towns such as Nairobi.
However, according to critics, such arrangement puts a strain on the wellbeing of children.
Traffic police officers will be on the lookout to ensure compliance of the directive.
Ogamba said school buses will undergo regular inspection by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).
