There was shock when a medic and his lover were found dead in Kisii.
They were staying at an apartment in Nyamataro estate, on the outskirts of Kisii town.

The man, identified as Vincent was a doctor at the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital (KTRH) while the woman identified as Moraa had come visiting from the United States.
The bodies lay side by side on bed, with the two holding hands, according to the police.Strangely, the bodies were at different stages of decomposition.
It is suspected that the woman died earlier than the man.
Police said that of the man was a bit fresh.
Their house was locked from inside.
There was speculation that they died out of injection of lethal poison.
They were in casual wear and lay facing up.
The man is suspected to have killed the woman first before he died by suicide.
According to friends and relatives, the woman was in Kisii for a short holiday.
She had come from the US where she stayed with her family.
She was a mother of one.
It was not immediately established what caused the deaths and the motive.
Police sources said pathologists had been invited to take over the scene and help in fixing the questions.
“The pathologists will determine how the two died.
The body of the woman looked a bit decomposed while that of the man was relatively fresh,” said a police officer.
Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports indicated that the two had a dispute over finances.
The bodies were moved to a mortuary in Kisii town for preservation and autopsy.
The incident comes at a time when countries are marking 16 days of actvisim against Gender Based Violence (GBV).
There is worry in the country over rising incidents of murder and suicide.
