Nyaribari Chache MP Zaheer Jhanda has stepped up his grassroots engagements, meeting Nyabitunwa residents as political activity intensifies ahead of the 2027 elections.

Jhanda used the meeting to engage residents on development, infrastructure and service delivery, while outlining his record since entering Parliament.

Residents raised issues affecting the area, giving the MP an opportunity to respond to their concerns and explain ongoing and planned development initiatives.

The meeting also took on a political dimension, with Jhanda seeking to strengthen his connection with voters and consolidate support at the grassroots.

The engagement comes as political leaders across the country increasingly turn their attention to the 2027 General Election, with constituencies becoming key battlegrounds for emerging political alliances and ambitions.

Jhanda, who is serving his first term, has continued to use public meetings and constituency engagements to highlight his development record and maintain contact with residents.
