Former Chief Justice David Maraga’s 2027 presidential campaign has unveiled a people-driven fundraising platform, marking a pivotal step in his bid to transform Kenya’s political culture.
In a statement released by the campaign secretariat, Maraga expressed gratitude to thousands of volunteers and contributors who have rallied behind the movement.

He emphasized a bold departure from “predatory campaign politics” in favor of citizen empowerment.
“We chose to move ahead, not with perfection, but with courage and hope,” the statement read, acknowledging that the campaign’s success would be built from the ground up by ordinary Kenyans.
The campaign pledged full transparency and accountability in managing public contributions, data, and volunteer efforts.
Plans are underway to roll out a comprehensive volunteer structure, allowing supporters to lend their talents to key areas of outreach, strategy, and public engagement.
As part of digital expansion, the technical team is strengthening the platform’s security and fundraising visibility, including a public donation ticker.
While downtime for maintenance may be required, the team assured users of robust infrastructure built to serve a dynamic and diverse society.
Maraga’s team is also developing a system for manifesto feedback, aimed at involving citizens directly in shaping his campaign’s policy agenda.
“This is truly your journey,” the letter noted, affirming the campaign’s commitment to participatory democracy.
With the theme “Reset, Restore, Rebuild,” Maraga, who cut his legacy in the judiciary is promising better governance for a country that has been riddled with corruption, infringement of human rights and disrespect of the constitution.
He has reaffirmed intention to restore the values of integrity and constitutional fidelity in Kenya.
