By Faith Nyabuto
Sometimes, you must let things be—
Accept that fate and destiny
Flow beyond our reach,
That change is life’s one certainty.
You must come to know:
Even voices once familiar
Can fall silent,
Conversations once comforting
Can curdle into dreams
You’d rather not revisit.

But still,
There is hope for new beginnings.
Let it go—
Make room for rediscovery,
New paths to wander,
New stories to live.
And through it all,
Your heart still beats—
A steady symbol of new life,
Abundant, blessed,
Cradled in grace and wonder.
