From humble beginnings as the Gusii Scribes Welfare Association (GUSWA), the Kisii Press Club (KPC) has grown into a professional hub for storytellers, communicators, and change-makers across Kenya.
Today, KPC proudly counts over 150 members, including journalists, public relations officers, and communication professionals, working in both public and private sectors.

With support from the Media Council of Kenya (MCK), the Club has a fully functional office in the heart of Kisii town and a dynamic online presence at www.kisiipressclub.co.ke, the Club has become a cornerstone of media excellence in the region.
But it’s more than just a professional association. It is a community.
Members benefit from a robust benevolence scheme, a structured mentorship programme, a football team and continuous professional development.
Veteran journalists with decades of experience rub shoulders with fresh graduates eager to make their mark.
