Kisii’s MC Ogatwoni spoke about his death several times, GPC has learnt.
His videos and pictures dominated social media platforms on Monday, following reports that the Tiktoker had died in a road accident.

Apparently, MC Ogatwoni spoke about his own death on several occasions, openly discussing how he wanted his funeral conducted, the coffin he preferred and even who should inherit his TikTok account.
Now that the popular Gusii digital storyteller is gone, those recorded conversations and personal instructions have taken on a painful new meaning for the friends and followers mourning him.
Ogatwoni died following a motorcycle accident at Tendere in Ogembo, Kisii County, and was taken to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital (KTRH), where he succumbed to his injuries.
In the wake of his death, details of what he had said about his final send-off have resurfaced, revealing a man who appeared to have thought through even the smallest details of his burial.
Among his wishes was that Pastor Morwabe should preside over his funeral and lead the service committing him to rest.
He had also told his friend Embande to use a photograph of him dressed in military regalia as his funeral portrait.
He was equally particular about his final resting place, reportedly asking that his grave be made smart, beautiful and classy.
Ogatwoni had selected a green coffin at Magenche Funeral Services, opposite KTRH mortuary, and given it the name “Green Army”.
He reportedly told his friends that he had already paid for it, ensuring that his family would not have to shoulder the cost.
In another video, he asked his friend Mdogo Mdogo to buy him a coffin, mentioning KSh20,000.
Mdogo reportedly agreed, adding the words, “lakini toku gaki (but don’t die)” — an exchange that might have passed as ordinary banter between friends but now carries a heavier emotional weight.
Ogatwoni had even made arrangements for his digital life after death.
In a video seen by GPC, he instructed his younger brother to inherit his TikTok account and begin familiarising himself with its community while he was still alive.
These were details he shared on record, and their significance has changed dramatically since his passing.

For those who heard him speak about his final wishes, remembering his words now means confronting the reality they once discussed in a different context.
Kisii Governor Simba Arati paid tribute to Ogatwoni, describing him as a dedicated digital storyteller and blogger whose work kept the public informed and engaged.
“His voice, insight, and commitment to truthful storytelling will be deeply missed,” Arati said.
For his family, friends and followers, the grief is compounded by the recollection of a man who spoke openly about his own departure while continuing to live, work and engage with his audience.
GPC has established that on Sunday, he attended a fundraising event in support of one lay Pastor Nyageo’s efforts to build a house just a day before the accident.
He easily blended with many, including politicians, and he did political messaging for some of them.
