The shrubs start small,
With each single plant struggling to grow,

Even when the obstacles are obvious.
Each plant in the forest makes it to maturity
To be part of the bush.
Together, the immature trees entangle,
Forming a bush, leaving no space for humans to pass.
But funny enough, someone can hide in the bush,
Someone can go round the bush,
Never wanting to go straight to the point.
Maybe the bush is the obstacle,
But the bush is busy growing, unbothered,
And someone is busy beating round it.
Beating round the bush makes it uncomfortable;
You destroy the vegetation around it,
Eventually making the bush exposed.
Better leave the bush to keep growing,
Or destroy it to penetrate and pass the point.
By penetrating the bush,
The obstacles are defeated;
You can see the other side.
Sometimes the bush can mislead,
For it has no clear pathway.
Strands clog the way.
By beating around the bush, you may never get lost,
But you will go nowhere.
