The Director of Gimo Security and Investigation Services Limited has been charged before the Kisii Law Courts.
He is accused of fraud in the award of a multi-million-shilling security services contract at Keroka Technical Training Institute.

Gilbert Momanyi Maturwe appeared before Magistrate Ada Mildred Obura and was charged with fraudulent practice in a procurement process contrary to Section 66(1) as read together with Section 177 of the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act.
According to court documents, Maturwe is accused of submitting a falsified Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Tax Compliance Certificate while bidding for Tender No. KETTI/1/2022-2024 for the provision of security services at Keroka Technical Training Institute.
The prosecution alleges that on or about May 26, 2022, Maturwe presented a KRA Tax Compliance Certificate bearing Serial Number KRAKSI127548622 as a genuine document issued to Gimo Security and Investigation Services Limited, knowing it was not authentic.
Investigators contend that the alleged misrepresentation enabled the company to secure a security services contract worth KSh 5,448,000.
Court records indicate that the matter was investigated by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), with the prosecution being led by Solomon Njiru.
The case was mentioned before Magistrate Obura and is expected to proceed through the court process as the prosecution pursues the charges against the accused.
The charges relate to alleged irregularities in the procurement process and form part of ongoing efforts to enforce accountability and compliance with public procurement laws.
