Former Constitution of Kenya Review Commission commissioner Charles Nyachae has endorsed former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i’s presidential bid, describing him as an experienced and results-oriented leader capable of transforming the country.
Speaking during the funeral of Isaac Ayako in Keumbu, Nyaribari Chache Constituency, Kisii County, Nyachae urged Kenyans to support leaders committed to service delivery, accountability and the welfare of ordinary citizens.

Nyachae said Dr Matiang’i’s record in public service demonstrates his ability to steer the country towards economic growth and improved governance.
“Kenya requires leaders who prioritize service delivery, accountability and the welfare of ordinary citizens. Fred Matiang’i possesses the qualities needed to unite the country and address the challenges facing millions of Kenyans,” Nyachae said.
At the same event, Nyachae also endorsed Nyaribari Chache parliamentary aspirant Okeng’o Nyambane, praising his commitment to community development and support for vulnerable families.
He noted that Nyambane has distinguished himself through initiatives aimed at improving access to education, healthcare and social support for needy households.
“Leadership is about service to the people. We need leaders who understand the needs of the community and are willing to work tirelessly to address them,” he said.
“Dr Fred Matiang’i has demonstrated that at the national level, while Okeng’o Nyambane has shown the same commitment at the grassroots. If these two work together, we will achieve a lot as a constituency.”
Nyachae who serves as Kenya Non-Executive chairman of the Kenya School of Government called on residents to rally behind the two leaders, saying their partnership would help accelerate development projects and strengthen representation of the people’s interests both locally and nationally.
Nyambane has already received endorsements from several local groups and has pledged to continue engaging residents on key issues including education, infrastructure, youth empowerment and economic opportunities.
The endorsements come amid heightened political activity ahead of the next General Election, as leaders seek to consolidate support across different regions of the country.
